湯文字
腰巻きとも言います。裾よけの下につけます。和装下着の一つです。
巻きスカートのような形で、長さは、膝丈より少し短めです。
今は使用されている方は少ないです。
素材は、綿が主流です。
お値段は 約２０００円～ （お値段は参考程度です。）
Yumoji
It is also called koshimaki.
Attach to the inside of one`s susoyoke(裾よけ）.
It is one of the Japanese kimono underwear. It looks like a rolled skirt.
The length is a little shorter than the length of the knee. It is made of cotton. In rare cases, there are silk materials, etc.
yumoji about 2000 yen or more. ( The price is just for reference)
湯文字付け方 How to wear Yumoji
前です Front
お尻と下腹を持ち上げるように、斜め上に右手の布をもっていきます。
Take the cloth on I right hand diagonally upward, as if lifting I hips and lower abdomen.
左手の布も同じようにします。
The cloth on the left hand does the same thing.
後ろです Back
布の先を巻いた布の中に入れます。(背中心のところ）
Put the tip of the cloth into the wound cloth.(In the center of back)
反対の布も同じようにします。
湯文字出来上がりです。
The cloth on the other side does the same thing.
completion.
この上から裾よけを付けます。

これは付け方の一例です。布の先の処理の仕方が、体型や、湯文字の種類、その人の好みで変わってきます。
